Italian grammar
Condizionale con radice irregolare
Give advice with the conditional: dovresti, faresti, verresti, and regular diresti, uscirei.
From the scene Dovresti provarle (You should try them)
In short
Some verbs shorten their stem in the conditional: dovrei, farei, verrei. Dovresti + infinitive = you should.
Your turn

Options: cosa faresti? · dovresti provare · gli farei fare una visita guidata
Show answer
what would you do? → cosa faresti?
How it works
Some verbs don't build the conditional on the full infinitive.
Your turn
Pick the word that fits the line.

Options: esco · sono uscito · uscirei
Show answer

Good to know
They use a shortened stem instead — dovere → dovr-, fare → far-, venire → verr- — then the usual endings -ei, -esti, -ebbe.
Good to know
Dire is regular, like uscire: direi, uscirei. Dovresti + infinito = you should.
