Dass-Satz am Satzanfang: Verb an zweiter Stelle

State facts and certainties about other people using dass-clauses in different positions.

From the scene Dass sie ihre Meinung sagt, ist klar (It's clear that she speaks her mind)

In short

Put a dass-clause first for emphasis; it counts as position one, so the main verb comes next.

Your turn

Which one goes with it's true the entrance is dirty?

Options: dass der Eingang schmutzig ist, stimmt · dass sie sagt, was sie denkt, ist klar · dass du auf ihrer Seite bist, ist offensichtlich

Show answer

it's true the entrance is dirty → dass der Eingang schmutzig ist, stimmt

How it works

You can put a whole dass-clause FIRST for emphasis.
