Pour… et le matin sans préposition
Use pour correctly, and know when to use no preposition at all.
From the scene Pour ou pas de préposition ? (Pour, or no preposition?)

Use pour for deadlines, people and occasions: pour samedi, pour toi. Parts of the day take no preposition: le matin.

How it works
French pour covers many uses of English 'for': a deadline or date (pour samedi), a recipient (pour toi), an occasion (pour ton anniversaire).
Good to know
But parts of the day take NO preposition at all: le matin (in the morning), le soir (in the evening).
