How it works
To say where or when an event takes place, use si tiene, si svolge or ha luogo, or simply è: dove si tiene il concerto? È qui, sabato.
Good to know
To say where a thing is, use si trova or è: il palco si trova al mercato. For a person, è is the normal word: la cantante è a casa.
