Pronomen: mir, mich, dir
Give a command with a pronoun attached.

In short
Mir comes before a noun: sag mir die Wahrheit. With two pronouns, the thing comes first: sag es mir.

How it works
With imperatives, a dative pronoun (mir) comes before an accusative noun: sag mir die Wahrheit.
Good to know
But when BOTH objects are pronouns, the accusative comes first: sag es mir.

Watch out
Don't say "sag mir es" — that order sounds wrong to a German ear.
