how would you feel if we paid you…? → ça vous dirait que nous vous payions…?

How it works

Ce que je (vous) propose, c'est que is followed by the present subjonctif, because you're proposing something that hasn't happened yet: que vous nous fassiez une remise.

Good to know

Ça vous dirait que...? (how would you feel if...?) softens the proposal further.

Good to know

Even after this conditionnel, the que-clause takes the ordinary present subjonctif: que nous vous payions, que nous donnions.
